    Charlie Gustin

Charlie Gustin built his reputation as a smart, tough litigator by securing record-breaking results while giving each client the personal care they deserve.

Gustin Law Firm is recognized for securing the #1 Top Rideshare / Uber Settlement Harris County (2025), the #1 Top Rideshare / Uber in the entire state of Texas (2024), the #1 Top Drunk Driver Settlement in Harris County (2023), as well as co-counsel on a Top 50 Texas Jury Verdict. In 2025 alone, the Gustin Law Firm obtained three (3) of the Top 100 Motor Vehicle Accident settlements in Texas. In total, Charlie has won over $50 Million in verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Gustin Law Firm was recently voted 2026 #1 “Best of The Best” Personal Injury Law Firm by Houston Chronicle voters with over 500,000 votes cast. The firm was also voted Top 3 “Best of the Best” in 2025. Houstonia Magazine calls Charlie one of Houston’s “Top Lawyers.” He has been honored as a Texas “Super Lawyer” 5 years in a row based on evaluations by his fellow Texas attorneys.

Charlie’s dedication to going the extra mile fighting for his clients has been featured by many major news outlets, including The Dallas Morning News, The Austin American-Statesman, Yahoo News, National Law Review and Texas Lawyer.

Charlie filed his first lawsuit as a teen, garnering nationwide press coverage for representing himself in federal court on constitutional issues. He was the first in his family to graduate from college after earning an academic scholarship from The University of Texas. In law school Charlie was selected for the Dean’s Scholar Award while dominating the school’s esteemed legal advocacy program – winning “Top Speaker” (out of 82 peers) in the Leroy Jeffers Memorial Moot Court Tournament and later leading a national championship moot court team at the American College of Legal Medicine. During and after law school, Charlie worked as head law clerk for his legal mentor and trial legend Rusty Hardin.

Charlie C. Gustin is licensed to practice in all Texas state and federal courts, as well as all state courts in New Mexico and Arizona. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of New Mexico, the State Bar of Arizona, the American Association of Justice, the National Trial Lawyers, the North American Brain Injury Society, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and he serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Charlie also frequently serves his community as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem, making sure that minor settlements are in the best interests of the child.

Although he has recovered tens of millions of dollars while helping hundreds of clients, Charlie is especially proud of a case when he helped shut down a dangerous Houston trampoline park, and another where he made sure a hurricane-displaced local family rebuilt their home and their lives after their insurance company wrongfully denied their claims. Currently, Charlie lives in Houston with his lovely wife, Dr. Jamie Everett, who Charlie will admit is the smartest in the family.
